Thank you to all the parents who attended our meeting today. For those that couldn’t make it, we discussed:

the Summer Program (enrollment ends May 15).

There will be upcoming field trips for each class, we are excited for students to have this opportunity again.

There will be another exotic animal zoo assembly scheduled for May, outdoors with even better animals and more interaction.

There is discussion to continue the field day tradition at the end of the year.

The 5th grade promotion is rapidly approaching and volunteers are needed, especially 4th grade parents who could shadow and help set up as well as learn the traditions and everything for next year.

Teacher appreciation will be celebrated May 4-6th. More information to follow.

A chess club pizza party is being planned.

We had nominations for board positions for the next year (and term of 2 years). Thank you to those considering a position. Your help and commitment keeps our PTA active which is so important for our school. If you were not able to attend the meeting but would still like to nominate someone or yourself for a position, please email howardpta17@gmail.com. Voting will take place at our next meeting on May 12 at 9:15. All prospective board members and eligible voters must be current PTA members.
