We Hope everyone is doing well and have settled into the new school year! It was great seeing everyone at the Welcome Back Picnic and thank you to all the parents/families/staff that came out to support!

The Howard PTA Board welcomes you to Howard Elementary school for another memorable year of programs, events, and Howard school pride. As we head into a new school year, we would like to remind you of the importance of your volunteer hours and financial support of the PTA. Every year, the PTA provides funding for school events, classroom supplies, professional development, educational programs, library books, teacher appreciation week festivities, site improvements and many, many more. To maintain our support of these vital programs, we ask each family to make an annual tax-deductible donation to the PTA and also become a member. Every donation makes a difference and we are aiming for 100% participations by our families this year. We have so many fun things planned for our children in the coming months, but they cannot happen without your HELP.

Field Day will be this Friday for our students. If you would like to attend, please click on the provided link to volunteer to run a station. We need about 30-40 parents to give the students a fun and engaging experience! Please click on this link to check/sign up for available time slots. Thank you so much for all your help in advance.
We will be having a bake sale Friday, May 20th. We are asking all families to help with donations for this. Please buy individually wrapped goodies like chips, cookies, candy, brownies, drinks, etc. to be sold at the bake sale and send them into the office on Friday. All Howard students are welcome to buy treats from the sale. All items are $1 each.
Please join us for the May PTA meeting tomorrow at 9:15 in the cafeteria. We will be discussing upcoming events including 5th grade promotion and Field day.
We will also be voting to elect a new PTA board . Please attend this important meeting. Only current PTA members are eligible to vote. The board positions include President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. The Ballot will be available at the meeting and if a PTA member is absent, they can obtained the Ballot from the office. Thank you.
