Happy New Year Howard families! Here are some January dates/events:

-January 10th: 2nd grade sponsored bake sale

Final day to submit nominations for Founders Awards

-Jan 15th at 9am: PTA Meeting

-Little Caesar’s Fundraiser will be this month, start date to be determined

– Founders Day (2/28 at 5:30pm) Tickets are for sale for $30 per person by January 20th

-PTA Council is partnering with C-Assist and Nancy Berry to organize a free health fair for parents and students in our district. Event is on February 5th from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM in the board room at 18700 Audette street, Dearborn.

Howard PTA will be sponsoring our annual Holiday Boutique December 10-12. All items will be $2.00 each, tax included. Parents, please go over a list of gift recipients with your child so they will know for whom they will be shopping. Please send the list along with cash or check with your child by Tuesday, December 10.

Parent volunteers are needed for set-up, shopping shifts, and take down.

Please Join us for our monthly PTA meeting on Wednesday, November 20 at 9 am. The PTA meeting will be followed by a parent informational session. Topics to be discussed: PBIS, NWEA, Read by Third Grade MI Legislation.

Tomorrow (Friday) we will have the First Grade sponsored bake sale. Everything is 50 cents to $1. First Grade parents, please drop off baked goods in the morning. Thank you for your support.

Thank you to our chairperson Leila Bazzi for organizing such a great Halloween bash, and to everyone who helped making this event a success for our students. Thank you to all of the homeroom parents and assistants for planning and organizing the classroom parties, and to all of the parents for your support. Finally, thank you to our great Howard staff and Mrs. Lazar for creating such a supportive environment not only for our children to learn every day but also for our families to celebrate and participate in these fun events together!

Quick reminder: Tomorrow is Election Day. We are still in need of donations for the Bake Sale, which can be dropped off in the office either today or tomorrow morning. Thank you!

Hello Howard Families! We are looking for volunteers to help at the Election Day Bake Sale on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Please consider signing up for a shift or two. We are also in need of donations for the Bake Sale. Donations can be brought to the main office on Monday, November 4, or on Tuesday, November 5, at 7:00am. As always, we appreciate your generosity!
