The Better Made Chips Orders have arrived. Please come to the school to pick up your order between 3:00 and 4:00 today.

Today is the last day to purchase tickets for our annual Halloween Bash. If you have any questions, or would like to purchase tickets today, please call Leila Bazzi at 313-443-2240 or email howardpta17@gmail.com or contact any board member.

Please turn your order forms and money in to your child’s teacher no later than tomorrow, 10/18.

Details for our annual “Howard’een” Bash were sent home yesterday. Please look for this note in your child’s folder.

Tickets are $8 per person for PTA members and $10 per person for non-members. Tickets include Live DJ, food, games, prizes, and Trunk or Treating. No tickets will be sold at the door, so please fill out and return the bottom portion of the note no later than Wednesday October 23rd.

We are in need of parents to volunteer for the Trunk or Treat (decorate your vehicle trunk and bring candy to pass out) and to help inside the school during and after the party (set-up, serving food, facilitating games, clean-up). If you can help, please sign up at this link:

If you are unable to volunteer for Trunk or Treat, you must donate a bag of store-bought wrapped candy in order for your children to participate in collecting candy. Please bring your own bag/pail for Trunk or Treat.

Tomorrow we will have a bake sale after school with items donated by the Kindergarten parents. Each item will be $1.

Friday, October 4:  Kindergarten Bake Sale

Howard Elementary PTA will be hosting grade-sponsored bake sales once each month to support fundraising for school events.  The first bake sale will need donations sent from Kindergarten families.  Everything will be sold for $1.  Please drop off all baked goods donations to the main office on Friday morning.  If you have any questions, please contact Leila Bazzi at 313-433-2240.
