The much anticipated, always celebrated Scholastic Book Fair is this week!
It will run Tuesday through Thursday morning. You can shop online Monday, November 27th- Friday, December 1st at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/howardelementaryschool9 You can also set up a prepaid ewallet account for your child to shop with at the fair so you don’t have to send cash. Checks are also accepted, payable to Howard PTA. Parents are welcome to come and shop with their child during their designated class time-slot.
We are in need of volunteers to run the fair and allow students to have the best book fair experience. Please give some of your time if you are able, even an hour helps.
Our most popular event is coming soon! Please consider signing up to help in any way you can. Let’s make this a fun and memorable night for our students!

The financial budget for the year was reviewed and approved.
We discussed past events such as the Welcome Back Family Night and mentioned upcoming events including a donuts and cider sale on October 20th and the Howardeen Fall Bash on October 27th. We will send out more information soon as well as a signup genius.
We are still in need of some people to chair events and fundraisers. If you are interested, please contact any of our PTA board members.
As always, we appreciate your help and look forward to working together to make it a successful and memorable year for our children.
The Howard PTA Board welcomes you to Howard Elementary school for another memorable year of programs, events, and Howard school pride. As we head into a new school year, we would like to remind you of the importance of your volunteer hours and financial support of the PTA. Every year, the PTA provides funding for school events, classroom supplies, professional development, educational programs, library books, teacher appreciation week festivities, site improvements and many, many more. To maintain our support of these vital programs, we ask each family to make an annual tax-deductible donation to the PTA and also become a member. Every donation makes a difference and we are aiming for 100% participations by our families this year. We have so many fun things planned for our children in the coming months, but they cannot happen without your HELP.

Send a Friendship Gram to family, friends or teacher. Each gram is $1 and will include a lollipop . Please return by Thursday, February 9th. Friendship Grams will be delivered to classrooms on February 14th.

February 24th Bake Sale Fourth Grade sponsored. We encourage all 4th Grade families to donate baked goods (individually packaged.) All baked goods will be $1 an item. Thank you Howard families for your support!
Please join us for our monthly PTA/Parent meeting this Thursday , 1/19/23 at 9:15 a.m. in the cafeteria.
PTA will provide the class with most parent/guardians in attendance with a pizza party!.
Friday, January 20th there is a fundraiser event that will take place between 3:00pm-9:00pm at FunZonez. We encourage everyone to attend and bring family/friends.
